| Application process | Applications are sent to the county high schools and technical high schools through e-mail and also through our high school representatives who attend our partnership meetings. Applications are sent back and are reviewed. The partnership gives new teachers who have never participated the program first look. The teachers are notified by the coordinator that they have been accepted into the program. The coordinator discusses with the educators what business would be a good match for them. After the business has agreed to host the educator, the educator is contacted by the coordinator with the business information. The educator is responsible to follow-up with the business and makes the arrangements for the internship. The coordinator follows up with both the educator and business to make sure that they are ready to go. Application is on line along with the guidelines on our website. |
